Weston was nominated unanimously by his team mates as team captain for his senior year and also has been the starting goalie for the last two years. His leadership and tenacity on and off the ice separate him from most players. Aside from being a dedicated student athlete, he is dedicated to growing the game and helping other hockey players in his community. Weston donates time to teach young goalies and be a role model within the community. He is the type of person that makes others want to be better. He fosters the idea of sportsmanship while being competitive.
