First and foremost Tyler is an incredible teammate. He was on track as a sophomore to be a staple in our lineup but was bitten by the injury bug in all 3 years of his career. His sophomore year he dealt with a long term shoulder injury. His Junior year he was hit with a concussion that cost him half of his season. This season as a senior, he dealt with early season Mono. He has never been able to work his way into our lineup because of these circumstances. He has remained incredibly positive through out all of this adversity. He has been mature about accepting his role while being the most encouraging guy in our locker room toward other player’s success and team success. These are the unspoken positive impacts that are necessary to have inside a team culture, and it all starts with character! We will miss Tyler as a center piece to who we are as a program.
