MaKenna has been a 4 year varsity player for the Cyclones. She is an ultimate competitor on the ice. She is not flashy and does not score a lot of points for the team but she is our rock in the defensive zone keeping offensive players out of the house and enforcing the unwritten rules of fair play within the game. MaKenna has been a team captain for the last two years. She has shown her leadership on and off the ice by helping run captains practice, meeting with coaches and keeping the tradition of adopting a first year player in place. This is an important part of our program because it teaches our players on the team how things are run as well as helps get them to practice or different events the team has planned. MaKenna has never looked to be in the spot light of the team she would rather have her teammates shine.
