Liv is the player that every coach loves to have on their team. No matter what, it’s always “TEAM” first with Liv. She simply has the best attitude and gives her best effort all the time. What makes her so deserving of this award, however, is she always seems to be happier for her teammates than she does for herself. Genuinely!! She is the loudest supporter on the bench and in the locker room and always has the best things to say to and about her teammates. She genuinely wants everyone on her team to succeed. She has consistently shown true character in the face of adversity and tough times, and I have never seen her without a smile on her face. She’s always happy and having fun no matter what may be going on in her own life. What I will miss the most about Liv is her friendly nature. Every day, on the way to the locker room or on her way out the door, she would walk by the coach’s room with a big smile and say, “Hi Coaches / Bye Coaches”, and you could hear genuine appreciation in her voice. She was happy to be in that moment. She’s simply the best teammate.
