This years Hobey Baker Award recipient is a four year player from East Greenwich HS named Kaitlyn Toce. Kaitlyn’s main sport is Volleyball. She has excellent leadership qualities that shine through at every practice and in every game. Due to her dedication to the team, Kaitlyn was chosen to be a team captain by her coaches for both her junior and senior years. An example of her unwavering commitment to the Thunderbirds, is from last year. When our goalie was injured only a few minutes into the beginning of the game, Katlyn did not hesitate to gear up and get in net.
This represents her remarkable character while showing the rest of the players what it means to be a teammate. Captain Kaitlyn Toce #8
