Jonathon is selfless. He plays for the “love of the game” rather than playing time, accolades, Goals, Assists , save percentage or awards. Daily he provides an example and reminder to us all that hockey is all about the team, hockey is about learning, hockey is about the process, and hockey is about the experience. He understands what it takes to be the best and he exhibits it daily in his relentless work ethic. He accepts his role as the team captain, always comes to the rink ready to practice or play with a positive attitude knowing that he can improve and make the players around him better. Jonathon does not take a drill, shot, practice or game for granted. He takes it all in and loves what this game and his teammates provide to him daily. He is the type of athlete that makes coaches stay in coaching.
Jonathon shows a continous commitment to his team and to his friends that he grew up playing with daily. Jonathon would not pass up high school hockey for any other option.
