Courtney Kurowski
2025 | Minnesota | GIRLS
Simley Spartans | Spartans | GIRLS
Courtney started her leadership role with Simley Girls Hockey as an eighth grader. She made the varsity at the young age of 14. She stepped right in to an established team as a starter and played a role on our power play and penalty kill. Courtney has always been one of the girls to answer the call for volunteers within the community, volunteering at the local food shelf as well as her church. Courtney could be seen spending endless hours supporting the youth program, whether it was Try Hockey Free events, helping with individual teams at practice or just supporting them at home games. Courtney personifies what leadership is here at Simley. She not only leads in both her sports but also in the classroom over the years with her 3.977 GPA. Voted a captain by her peers, Courtney sets the example for a leader daily with her hard work on and off the ice. Our Spartan culture is built off of the foundation of great leaders like Courtney.
