Aubrey Wittwer is the absolute example of what a great teammate should strive to be. She is a perfect example for young players that are learning what it means to be a great team member. She is kind in the room, responsible all the time, and never puts herself first. Aubrey is one of the most coachable players I have ever been around and is always looking to get better any way she can, every day. She leads not only through encouraging and inspiring words, but also through example. She is a hard worker who never asks someone to do something that she is not herself willing to do. We challenge our players to leave the program better than they found it, and she is the best example and embodiment of what that means. We have been so lucky to have her in our community. Aubrey is always the first to volunteer to work with our youth players, and is a tremendous captain for our team because she is a leader. She doesn’t just lead her teammates, she is a leader for the whole Delano/Rockford HS and Youth program.
