Joe Schultz is our captain this season and demonstrated love of the game and teamwork
by coordinating many pre-season activities. He was instrumental for our summer hockey
camp, Jeff Sauer competition, and captain’s practices. He is a servant-leader at heart who
is admired by the younger players joining our high school program. In addition to
hockey Joe will play lacrosse this spring at Marquette High. He is continually praised for
his coachability, integrity and sportsmanship.
Outside school Joe works grounds crew at a local golf course and enjoys time with his
friends and family. This past fall Joe was part of the Senior Follies crew this year which
pushed him out of his comfort zone.
Joe also overcame a speech impediment when he was younger and has consistently
demonstrated strength of character and ability to work hard to accomplish his goals.
Joe is planning on pursuing an electrician apprenticeship after Marquette High and then
work at Roman Electric. Among Joe’s strengths, he enjoys building things with his
hands and will become a great apprentice and electrician.
