It is with great pride that I nominate Tucker Cobery for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award. Throughout his hockey career at Lasalle, Tucker has consistently demonstrated the qualities of dedication, resilience, and exceptional character that embody the spirit of this prestigious honor.
Tucker’s passion for hockey is unmatched, and it’s evident in every shift he takes on the ice. He doesn’t just play the game, he gives it everything he has, always pushing himself to 110% and leaving it all on the ice. Tucker’s work ethic is incomparable, he never gives up, no matter the challenge. Whether it’s fighting for every puck or making a quick recovery after a mistake, he’s always focused on bouncing back stronger. He constantly adapts to whatever the game throws his way. Tucker never settles for anything less than his best, and when things don’t go as planned, he’s quick to regroup and stay focused on the next opportunity. His unwavering dedication to selflessness, teamwork, and constant improvement will undoubtedly shape his success in everything he does.
One of Tucker’s greatest assets is his relentless positivity. No matter how tough the game gets or how many pucks miss the net, he’s always there cracking a joke or offering a smile.
