Jason was chosen by the coaching staff because he exuded the qualities of success. Jason always comes to the rink with a positive attitude, and excellent work ethic, and a will to succeed no matter the circumstance. Over the season, Jason was counted on to log an enormous amount of ice time in all situations. As a defenseman, he saw time with some upper classmen, but was also entrusted playing with players getting their first experience at the varsity level. The trust we could put in Jason not only for his skill but for his “whatever the team needs” approach was outstanding. Each game, Jason logged half a games worth of ice time, always answering “I’m good coach.”
