Nick “Kiebs” Kiebles is a player that has shown tremendous growth throughout his hockey career. Kiebs is a talented player and really found his stride in his junior and senior years. Moving back to his sophomore year, he scored a pivotal goal for the team in the 3A State Championship game in the 2022-2023 season. As a junior he began to transition into more of a team leader. Finally, his senior year he made a move to defense and found his niche. He was nominated as an Assistant Captain his senior year by his peers. He showed grit, determination, and leadership his senior year. Kiebs works extremely hard to be a better player and person. His growth this year specifically was a determining factor in his award nomination.

Kiebs has been a pleasure to coach, and is very deserving of the Hobey Baker High School Character Award.
