Drew is an amazing young man with a level of dedication to hockey that is unsurpassed. He shows up at the rink every day, ready to work hard, always seeking out criticism and ways to improve his play. He leads by example on and off the ice by representing himself, his team, his coaches and his family with the utmost of class and respect. Drew always keeps his head held high and continues to positively and enthusiastically lead his team even in the face of adversity, struggle and hardship. He has earned the respect of his teammates, his coaches, opposing players and their coaches as well. These traits, along with his infectious smile and undying loyalty, have earned him my vote for this years Hobey Baker award.
